New Yorkers gathered at the Third Annual St. Barth Hamptons Gala on July 19, 2014 at the Bridgehampton Historical Society. The event was presented by Social Life Magazine and hosted by Brooke Shields who was featured on this month's cover. The event was sponsored by Escada, St. Barth Properties, St. Barth Tourism, Brahmin, Cezanne, Nest Seekers, Alex & Ani, Shannon Limeburner and Khari, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bridgehampton Historical Museum.
Guests mingled inside the main tent where we sampled delicious Frosae wine sorbets and danced to the Caribbean live band. Maxi dresses and colorful outfits dominated the fashion scene, and guests seemed to be relaxing at the tropical soiree. At the Escada lounge, there was a Starbucks coffee bar, refreshing cocktails, and Financier desserts. The passion fruit mousse tartalette seemed to be the crowd’s favorite.
By the end of the evening, guests rushed from the Escada Lounge to the main tent to take a look at the DJ. The eleven year old sensation was not only the life of the party, but he also was incredibly talented. He mixed electronic tunes and danced along with the music. After enjoying a night of cocktails, sweets, and mingling, guests received an Escada towel and headed home.
On the same day, The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation held its Unconditional Love Gala at a private waterfront home in Southampton. Gala chair Jean Shafiroff, Board President Jonathan McCann and Chairwoman Emeritus Susan Allen hosted this year’s James Bond themed event, which honored animal advocate Georgina Bloomberg.
On Friday July 18, Jeffrey Lane, Alexandra Lebenthal, Andrew Stern and Carrie Gallaway, hosted the Grand Opening of the Lebenthal Bridgehampton Office. Guests were welcomed into the new location to enjoy beverages from the events sponsors Juice Press and Martha Clara Vineyard. An art show curated by Lorinda Ash was displayed around the venue featuring local artists.
