On June 23, 2104, the elite of New York headed to Up and Down in The Meatpacking District to celebrate the launch of DuJour's June Magazine cover which featured comedian, and talk show host Bill Maher. Jason Binn who currently serves as the CEO/Publisher of DuJour Media Group treated guests to one of a kind edibles and white sparkling champagne. When we asked why he chose Bill Maher for the cover, Mr. Binn stated, "You know it's part of the game, you're always trying to be the best and put out the best content for our readers."

After a quick photo op, I asked Binn "What are your plans for the summer?" And with quick excitement and he yelled "Hamptons, baby!" Finally he stated the future of DuJour would be simply to keep building. As the crowd got settled and more handshakes were exchanged the man of the hour came in, Mr. Bill Maher, himself. Jason Binn introduced Bill and threw in a quick joke to which Bill rebounded with a joke himself.

When we asked Maher how he felt about being featured in DuJour Magazine he stated, "Wait, who are you? I have to run everything by my boyfriend," as he pointed to Jason. "Well I mean 11 on a scale of 10." Then I asked if he had any projects planned for the summer. Bill stated "Any projects? No I don't believe I'm going to the projects this summer. I'm going to stay in Bel Air, California." Finally after a few good laughs, I asked "How would you like 'Real Time with Bill Maher' to progress in the future?" Bill replied, "I think it's where it needs to be."

After wrapping up the interview, a few more words were changed and we thanked Bill Maher, Jason Binn, and the DuJour Magazine team for having us at the fabulous event presented by Gilt and TW Steel.
