On the scene at the Martone Cycling Co. Pop-Up at the Paramount Hotel

Lorenzo Martone invited us to celebrate the one year anniversary of Martone Cycling Co. and the launch of the first ever MCC Pop-Up Shop at the Paramount Hotel on Wednesday, April 2. A special media preview took place, followed by a cocktail reception.

The pop-up shop was filled with bicycles in their new spring colors - gold, blue, orange and red. An electric bike hybrid was on display with a manual switch. This allows the rider to choose when they want to use that extra boost when riding. Art by Justin Teodoro, a Brooklyn based artist, was also featured in the form of posters, iphone cases, t-shirts and water bottles. He transformed the double diamond Martone logo into a dog inspired by the owner's Shiba Inu, Mia.

Riding ponchos, a collaboration between Martone and Cleverhood, were on display, as well, in a variety of prints and colors. We also spotted other bike accessories such as brightly colored helmets and locks. Baked by Melissa provided refreshments in the form of little mini cupcakes. Guests also sipped on champagne.

The Pop-Up is open until April 20, so you can check out the the Marton-E, a sleak and sustainable e-bike for yourself. We loved the full collection of Martone Cycling Co. accessories, t-shirts, water bottles, and iPhone cases, which were made especially for Martone's collaboration with the Paramount.
