Now that a new Pope has been introduced to the world, the Catholic church can return to it's role in Christian leadership. With so many followers around the world, the influence that it has is astounding, so much so that one could easily see how it could influence events everywhere.
-Did you hear that President Obama paid a visit to Israel and religion is apparently on his mind? Did you also hear that this would be the first trip to the Holy Land as President of the largest free country?
-Did you know that the trip made by Obama may not necessarily be the important news, but the information he is trying to share? Did you also know that our beloved leader is suggesting that all religions come together as one, in a manner of speaking?
-Do you feel that the introduction of pope Francis and the fact that he has already sided FOR same sex unions (not marriages) will work in favor of the people who follow him? Do you also feel that this pope is showing all the signs of compromise, which may or may not sit well with many of his Catholic followers?
Say what you want about President Obama, but when it comes to playing to an audience, he has all the necessary tools. Anyone who has not yet seen our beloved leader in action should try to do so (if possible) during this trip to the Holy Land.
-Do you believe that people who read the word of God have any insight as to what all these changes we see happening before our eyes really mean? Do you also believe that the Bible is not as difficult to understand, unless you don't like what you are reading?
-Do you agree that the President's attempt at the Hebrew language, while in Israel, was an interesting turn of events? Do you also agree that it would have probably made a greater impact if our beloved leader had paid a visit to Israel during his first term in office?
-Do you think that President Obama should have tried harder to include a visit to the western wall while in that country? Do you also think that there is any truth to the fact that the reason he did not visit the wall was because of logistical security issues? Would it have made a difference to you?
