Dutch DJ Martin Garrix's song "Animals" is becoming a hit in the U.S. The wild EDM track climbs to no. 37 this week on the Hot 100 singles chart, Billboard reported on Thursday.

Garrix is part of the Spinnin' Records label with DJs like Cedric Gervais. He released his breakthrough song "Animals" in June of last year and it conquered the clubs stateside, peaking at no. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart. Now the 17-year-old is doing some damage on the main singles chart. After spending 22 weeks on the Hot 100, "Animals" becomes Garrix's first top 40 hit, moving up to no. 37 this week. Over on iTunes, it also sits within the top 40 songs. Like Gervais before him, Garrix is finding big success in the U.S. with his roaring "Animals" track.

In the music video for "Animals," a gang wearing animal masks trash a car before setting it on fire. They later hit up a club where people are losing their minds to Garrix's hit on the dancefloor. At the end of the clip, Garrix is revealed to be part of the animal crew. The video has garnered over 169 million views on YouTube as of press time.

Garrix has only released a few singles and not a full album yet.
