On the Red Carpet at the Grammy's

In spirit of the 2010 awards season, it is time to award the red carpet superlatives for last night's Grammy awards.  There were high notes and low notes, with the only outlandish outfits coming from Lady GaGa (but of course.)  Here comes a re-cap and the appropriately awarded best and worst of the 2010 Grammy Awards.

Most Glamorous/Best Dressed: Taylor Swift.  A step away from her usual nude colored glitz, this off the shoulder stunner was just flirty enough and still age appropriate.

Classiest Country Crooner: Carrie Underwood.  Her white floor length gown by Edition- Georges Chakra was both understated and high fashion.  The angular necklines kept it fresh, while the white organza made for lots of youthful movement!

Best Décolleté: Beyonce.  As always, Beyonce gives us a dress that makes us look in awe at her curves.  Her hour glass figure looks just lovely in this embroidered Stephane Rolland fishtail gown.

Most Whimsical: Katy Perry.  The newly engaged "I Kissed A Girl" songstress took this season's floral print popularity and made it her own.  Zac Posen  created a fun and classy gown, perfect for Katy's cheeky sense of style.

Hottest Mom: Heidi Klum.  Of course, the Victoria's Secret Angel needs no further intro.  Her gorgeous gams glowed paired with a dazzling gilded minidress and Jimmy Choo heels.

Classiest: Jennifer Hudson. Va-va-voom! Ms. Hudson looked fabulous in a waist cinching ensemble designed by the Queen of Corsets herself, Mrs. Victoria Beckham.  Totally age appropriate and figure flattering, this look was right on target.

As for those who failed to bring it on the red carpet this year, it is a familiar list.  Miss Britney Spears just didn't shine in a see through Dolce and Gabbana lace frock.  Fergie also was fairly unimaginative in a blue, one shoulder, short Emilio Pucci.  Pretty sure we have seen that once, twice, three times.  As for J.Lo, well, I give her points for her dazzling Lorraine Schwartz baubles, but the Versace dress hugged too tightly in all the wrong places.
