On The Mat Wed.: Iowa State mat champ Kyven Gadson, USA Wrestling's Craig Sesker

Iowa State wrestler Kyven Gadson and Craig Sesker of Wrestling USA will be guests for the "On The Mat" radio broadcast this Wednesday, March 13, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum announced Tuesday.

Sesker is the communications manager for USA Wrestling. He will provide an update on the International Olympic Committee’s recommendation to drop wrestling from the 2020 Olympics.

Gadson is a sophomore at Iowa State. On Saturday he won the Big 12 championships at 197 pounds. He was also a two-time Iowa state champion for East Waterloo High School, where he was coached by his father Willie Gadson, a two-time NCAA All-American for the Cyclones in the 1970s who passed away Sunday.

On the Mat is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Central on AM 1650, The Fan.
