Nick Mitchell, head wrestling coach at Grandview College, and Jason Bryant of USA Wrestling have been announced as featured guests for the "On The Mat" radio broadcast this Wednesday, Jan. 11, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum announced Monday.
- Bryant is the coordinator of grassroots and social media for USA Wrestling. Bryant, twice named national wrestling writer of the year, will provide an update on the 2012 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals and the Virginia Duals.
- Mitchell is in his fourth season as the head wrestling coach at Grandview College in Iowa; his team won the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) title at the National Duals in Springfield, Ill. this past weekend. As a wrestler, Mitchell was a three-time All-American for Wartburg.
"On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum and can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa this Wednesday at from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Central on AM 1650, The Fan.
