On the heels of 'Fallout 4' hoax, new leaks confirms new game on the way

It was only last week that the suspected "Fallout 4" alternate reality game website,, was revealed to be a hoax created by Reddit user "DCHoaxer." However, new casting documents leaked to gaming website Kotaku confirm that a new installment of the "Fallout" series is just around the corner.

On December 11, Kotaku author Jason Schreier posted an article about receiving "documents from a casting call for a project code-named Institute." The documents in question contain several references to aspects of the "Fallout" universe, and the casting director is known to have worked with developer Bethesda Game Studios in the past on their 2011 release "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."

He says he has checked and confirmed the authenticity of the documents, which consist of "scripts, character descriptions, and other details about the next 'Fallout'." This means, as has been the general speculation for the last 2 years, that there is a new game currently in development for the post-apocalyptic role-playing series.

In addition, the documents confirm what has been rumored for months: the next game is set in Boston, Massachusetts.

While the developers may be silent on the whole issue, gamers can be rest assured that something will be coming soon!
