The craft beer calendar gets rolling this week with events celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Monday night includes numerous happenings centered around Lakewood's newest release, Mole Temptress, as well as the debut of a new summer seasonal from Deep Ellum called Neato Bandito. Regarding the latter, the official launch party for DEBC's Czech-inspired Mexican-style lager will be hosted by the Katy Trail Ice House, where they'll have a glassware giveaway and you'll have a chance to be pictured as Neato Bandito.

From there you can look to immerse yourself in the Total Beer Experience at area Total Wine Locations. Beginning on Thursday, May 8, and running through Sunday, May 18, the event will be anchored by daily tastings featuring local and national craft beer brands. Check the website for full details, and take note of marquee events featuring Deep Ellum and Lakewood this coming Friday and Saturday.

Also on Saturday, it's time once again for the North Texas Beer & Wine Festival. Now in its fourth year, attendees will be able to choose from hundreds of beers and wines to sample while enjoying gourmet foods, homebrewing classes and key note speakers. Tickets are available via Eventbrite, and can be purchased here.
