Meddlesome Moth, Dancing Bear Pub

Big things are happening this week at the Meddlesome Moth as the gastropub undergoes what it's calling a MetaMothosis. It's all part of their yearly anniversary celebration which features daily special tappings, a sold-out Founders Beer Dinner and nightly events where they'll be serving up select rare brews. Check the Moth's Facebook page for all the details.

The other big event this week happens at the Dancing Bear Pub in Waco. It's their 5th Annual Texas Craft Beer Festival, where eighteen of the state's brewers will be on hand pouring some of "the finest craft beer Texas has to offer." Tickets are $38pp (including fees) if you purchase in advance, or $45pp at the door.

Elsewhere, the week has ample opportunities to enjoy beer and food pairings, with fully a half-dozen events of this type going on with breweries like Franconia, Lakewood, Breckenridge and Saint Arnold. Check the schedule below for dates and times, as well as links to menus where available.
