On Sunday: Dinner and movie on environmental justice at North UU Congregation

What does it really take to live with zero environmental impact? Colin Beavan's book and documentary film No Impact Man tell the story of a family's adventure in living as green as possible for one year in the heart of Manhattan—how they did it, and what they learned from the experience.

On Monday, March 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., the North Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Lewis Center is hosting a potluck, book discussion, and screening of excerpts from the film.

"Beavan's ability to weave together factual information, amusing anecdotes of his family’s experiences, and insights into the spiritual discoveries of living sustainably is very entertaining, informative, and thought provoking," said Pam Patsch, Chair of the Social Action Committee at North UU. "You do not have to read the book to attend the potluck and movie."
