Special guest Bill Cohen will host the Hootenanny Sing-along on Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church.
Bill and his guitar will lead a 1960's-style folk music sing-along with songs made famous by Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, The Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul and Mary, the Weavers and many more, plus songs for kids.
The event will include a display of Bill's famous period artifacts and a 1960's trivia quiz. "Bring your voice for singing, your hands for clapping, and your memories about the good times these songs spark," Bill says. This is a free, family-friendly event for all ages.
Bill Cohen has been an Ohio public radio journalist for 40 years. He has performed his Spirit of the 1960’s Coffeehouse in colleges, churches, synagogues, conferences, high schools, and middle schools across Ohio and beyond.
