It's finally here. After speculation, then controversy and years of development, the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel is applying the finishing touches before opening its doors to the public on November 11th. And by the public, they mean you, Dallas.
You see, the folks over at the Omni are letting the locals in to wine and dine inside the hotel's restaurants, as well as provide time to "ooh" and "aah" over each detail of the massive hotel before guests begin filling the lobbies. Restaurants include a sports bar, a fourth floor terrace eatery, a steakhouse and Texas Spice - a farm-to-market concept restaurant that serves up three meals a day from locally grown ingredients.
The new Omni Dallas will also feature a grand opening special in honor of its opening date. The firsts guests in the hotel will receive low grand opening rates of $111 per night - a perfect excuse to schedule that weekend downtown staycation you've been thinking about. Or, if you're feeling extra adventurous, spring for one of the hotel's 67 suites, which range from 750 to 1805 square feet each. While you're there, you'll indulge in a heated infinity pool, as well as gain access to the hotel's over-the-top fitness center, on-site spa and of course, valet parking. Just talking about it makes me want to book a room now.
