Today Kalypso Media released their new gangster strategy/simulation game "Omerta: City of Gangsters" on PC and Xbox 360. The game is available for purchases on several sites, but the PC version requires Steam to install and play. It is priced at $39.99, with a two-pack available for $59.99.
Developed by Haemimont Games, "Omerta" is a turn-based strategy game set in 1920's Atlantic City. Players recruit a gang and fight other gangs as they establish their own criminal empire. The game includes an RPG-style system for developing characters and managing equipment. Competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes are also included.
To celebrate the release of the game, Kalypso Media unveiled a new trailer. You can view it at the bottom of this article. The game comes with 50 Steam achievements. The PC version does not have any built-in controller support.
