Zombies swarm the Bay Area in a story centered around characters in San Francisco, Berkeley and Alameda while the contagion spreads across the globe in Omega Days by John L. Campbell, published last year.

Now it's just been announced that a second book in the Omega Days series is coming out this October from Berkeley Trade, called Ship of the Dead, but there's also a new edition of the first book coming out next week, May 6th, which features an extended ending to set up the sequel.

Other books to feature zombies into the Bay Area include The Loving Dead, by Amelia Beamer, and The Panama Laugh, by Thomas S. Roche.
