Omar Sy is set to explore "Jurassic World"

Omar Sy, star of the 2011 french dramedy "The Intouchables," announced today via his twitter account he has joined the cast for Universal's "Jurassic World."

"Fan of this saga from the beginning," the french thespian tweeted, "I'm very proud to be apart of the cast for JURASSIC WORLD."

"Jurassic World" is the fourth installment in the "Jurassic Park" series.

Sy will star alongside Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jake Johnson, and Irrfan Khan.

Colin Trevorrow, Director of "Safety Not Guaranteed," will helm the picture. Trevorrow also penned the screenplay with Derek Connolly.

Sy can be seen in this summer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past," as the mutant Bishop.

"Jurassic World" is slated for a June 12, 2015 release.
