Omaha and the Bookworm is the second stop tormorrow for Ben Carson's book tour

Among physicians who write, Ben Carson is surely among the most successful, making bestseller lists. The author of autobiographical (e.g., "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story," co-authored) and political science (e.g., "America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great," written by Carson with his wife) books stops by Omaha tomorrow to promote his new book "One Nation" (http://realbencarson.com)

Carson, who has been asked whether he will run for President, begins his tour for "One Nation" this weekend, stopping first in several places in Colorado today before Omaha tomorrow and Iowa Monday. Carson's books have been published by Zondervan, the Christian books publisher.

Poignant stories about his childhood in "Gifted Hands" and detailed assessments of policies such as those surrounding health care in "America the Beautiful" make us want to read "One Nation" too.

Carson, scheduled to appear at the Bookworm, 8702 Pacific Street, at 3 p.m. tomorrow, has been professor of neurosurgery, plastic surgery, oncology, and pediatrics and the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.
