And then there were four! The 2012 Olympics women's beach volleyball tournament is down to the final four teams, and two of them represent the United States. The first U.S.A. team consisting of Misty May Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings taking on China at 1:00 p.m. ET, followed by the other USA ladies April Ross and Jen Kessy taking on Brazil at 4:00 p.m. ET.
So what are the odds that the Gold Medal round could be USA vs. USA?
Well, they are pretty good actually.
Both teams from the United States are favored to win today according to odds makers. Ross and Kessy are a slight favorite to beat Brazil at -135, while Treanor and Ross are a bigger favorite to win their match over China at -180.
The action should be awesome for beach volleyball fans.
