The skiers at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Freestyle skiing ladies' aerials event defied gravity on every twist and turn. The athletes seemed to have complete control, yet the fans couldn't stop being amazed at every moment in the air. According to NBC News on Friday, the women's finals were on Friday and Team USA didn't win any medals in the competition.

While some fans might be disappointed that Team USA came home empty handed, one look at the gravity defying moments that athletes performed in Sochi might have made the medal podium disappear. Few, if any, normal skiers could have offered such an amazing view from the ski. It shattered the laws of gravity and gave people a reason to cheer for every athlete in the competition.

As the Sochi Olympics offer unique views of different sports, the idea of seeing these tough women dance in the sky was amazing. The training for this type of event had to be intense and the chance to impress came from feet above the ground!
