According to Megan Robinson of the FAN 590, the men's 15km mass start biathlon event and the men's snowboard cross were both postponed on Monday because of heavy fog.

The men's biathlon has been moved to 3:30 a.m. mountain time on Tuesday, while the men's snowboard cross will now take place at 11:30 p.m. on Monday night.

In the men's snowboard cross, there will be no seeding round and the starting positions in the heats will be decided on the athletes' current ranking from the International Ski Federation.

The Canadians who were impacted by the postponement were snowboarders Christopher Robanske of Calgary, Kevin Hill of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Robert Fagan of Cranbrook, British Columbia, and Jake Holden of Halton Hills, Ontario as well as biathletes Jean-Philippe Le Guellec of Kingston, Ontario, Nathan Smith of Calgary and Brendan Green of Hay River, North West Territories.

Robanske, Hill and Fagan are outside medal contenders for Canada.
