Steenkamp, 30, has been confirmed dead by her publicist. She worked as a model and recently participated as a contestant on “Tropika Island of Treasure 5,” a South African reality TV show. She is believed to have died at the scene with a shot to the arm and head and where a 9mm pistol was recovered. Police confirm there have been past incidents of a domestic nature at the home.
