Olympic ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White are going to be on a breakfast table very soon. The special-edition box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes will be seen by the ice skating fans around the country on Feb. 24. According to Yahoo News on Wednesday only 1,000 boxes will be produced and there is no doubt that the fans are hoping to pick up one at the grocers.

The limited-edition cereal boxes haven’t been flowing from Sochi. While the traditional opportunity to see American athletes on the boxes seems to be alive and well, there haven’t been enough gold winners to pick up a few boxes. Considering that there are millions of Americans, the 1,000 boxes might just be enough to cover the Olympic medal winners and some of their biggest fans.

Hopefully there will be some more Olympians for American to see on cereal boxes. It’s such a great time honored tradition and to see the athletes on the boxes in the grocery store is quite splendid. Offering a moment in time that everyone got to see, it’s a perfect idea that needs more American athletes who have done their best in Sochi.

Who else belongs on a Kellogg’s cereal box? Perhaps every one of Team USA athletes!
