Actress Olivia Wilde and “Saturday Night Live” star Jason Sudeikis are engaged. A rep for Wilde confirmed on Jan. 12 that the couple was in fact engaged according to Us Weekly on Jan. 13.
A source close to the couple said Sudeikis popped the question shortly after the holidays. There has been no word on a wedding date yet.
Wilde took to Twitter today to thank everyone for the congratulations they have received.
"Thanks for all the sweet congratulatory love, friends! And may I compliment your savvy use of that nifty engagement ring emoticon."
This will be the second marriage for both Olivia and Jason. Olivia was previously married to documentarian Tao Ruspoli for eight years. Jason was previously married to “Pitch Perfect” screenwriter Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010.
Jason and Olivia have been dating since November 2011. They began living together last year.
Wilde will be in the movie "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" in March and in "Rush" in September. Sudeikis will be in the movie "We're the Millers", costarring Jennifer Aniston, in August.
One thing is for sure, Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are very happy and in love. It is nice to see two people be able to find love again.
