Olivia Trummer to perform at New York City's Cutting Room

According to a Jan. 29 tweet from Olivia Trummer, the world-renowned vocalist and composer has announced she will be performing on Jan. 29 at The Cutting Room in New York, New York.

"@OliviaTrummer TODAY at The Cutting Room NYC with Jimmy Cobb! Join us for a one-of-a-kind-set of original songs&jazz standards at 10pm!" Trummer tweeted.

Trummer, a critically-acclaimed jazz pianist and composer, takes the stage at 10 p.m.

"You can get your tickets here: http://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/467807?utm_medium=api … Looking forward to see you there!" she tweeted to her legion of Twitter followers.

Tickets are $15, and there is a $20 food and drink minimum. The venue is located at 44 E. 32nd St. in New York, New York.

Trummer, 28, is a classically-trained artist who studied at the The Manhattan School of Music. She has already released four fantastic albums and performed on stage with the likes of Bobby McFerrin.

Her concerts tend to mix classical music and jazz, including interesting arrangements of works by the likes of Bach and Mozart.

For her New York City performance at The Cutting Room, Trummer is expected to perform music from her forthcoming album “Fly Now” as well as some standards.

Trummer will be joined on stage by drummer Jimmy Cobb and bassist John Webber.

New York jazz fans should definitely check out this fast-rising superstar.
