"George Harrison: Living in the Material World" was honored in a big way at Thursday night's Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

The film, which premiered in late 2011, took the award for Best Documentary Feature. Its competition was Buck," "Cave of Forgotten Dreams," "Page One: Inside the New York Times," "Project Nim" and "Undefeated." There were some well-known names among those films. "Buck" featured Robert Redford and "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" was written by, directed and starred Werner Herzog.

This makes the Harrison documentary's second award. It was also honored by the National Board of Review as one of the year's top five documentaries. Two of the other four were Critics' Choice nominees "Buck" and "Project Nim."

Olivia Harrison, also a producer of the film, attended the ceremony and was onstage with actor Leonardi DiCaprio after the win was announced. She introduced Bob Dylan, who sang a blistering version of "Blind Willie McTell" in Scorsese's honor. (See video at left.)
