In honor of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on April 24, Olive Garden is offering one free kids menu item for children under 12 years old for every adult entree that's purchased during the same day whether it's for lunch or dinner.
Since 2012, the chain has partnered up with the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation, and in 2013, more than 7,000 participants took advantage of the discount nationwide.
Jay Spenchian, Olive Garden's executive vice president of marketin, explained, ""Olive Garden is proud to support the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day Foundation and all it does to create enriching educational experiences for children around the world. By offering free kids meals we hope to make the day a little more special for parents and their children, and encourage everyone to join us for a family meal together."
Olive Garden has recently updated their menu to include more than a dozen new menu options, which include healthier fare, customization options, small plates, flatbreads, and chicken meatballs.
You must print out a coupon and bring it to an Olive Garden location in order to receive the free menu item. It's available on OliveGarden.com.
