The Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, is located on a 275 campus, with modern and traditional architecture. They have over 1500 students and the on campus students live in five dormitories. The dormitories house over 55% of the students. They boost that they offer a well rounded education and superior Academic Programs. Cheyney is one of the 114 Universities that is run by the Pennsylvania State Of higher Education. They have nine sports in their athletic program. Their women's program is considered to be one of the highest in their Division.

Degree Programs:

They offer a bachelor's degree in accounting, art, biology, business, chemistry, chemistry, communications, computer science, drama, earth science, economics, education, English, geography, health and physical education, history, home economics, hotel/restaurant management, industrial arts, language arts, marine science, mathematics, music, nutrition, police science, political science, psychology, social science, theatre arts and urban studies.

Cheyney's Graduate programs offer the Master of Arts, Master of Science and Master of Education. They also offer a graduate program in elementary education, special education, industrial arts education, secondary education, educational administration, adult and continuing education, general science, foreign language and communication arts. They also have a dual program with Meharry for medical and biosciences and also with the Pennsylvania College for podiatry.

They do have programs that are costly per academic year, for tuition, room and board.
