Normally hiring those considered to be age-challenged or over fifty presented a drawback for perspective employers due to the additional cost of benefits, more sick days used, lack of technical savvy, and unwillingness or inability to adapt to change.

Recently over 200 large corporations in this country agreed and signed an AARP pledge vowing to give more consideration to workers over fifty and even those over sixty that make be looking to reenter to the job market.
