Experience the Old West!
Old Tucson Studios is in southern Arizona. Only fifteen minutes from Tucson at the base of the Tucson Mountains. Just west of Tucson off of Speedway and West Gates Pass Road. It is Arizona’s idea of outdoor entertainment for movie buffs and the whole family! It is a world-famous western movie studio, but operates as a theme park to stay solvent during lean times, like when the state legislature is thinking about a new movie incentive bill. The movie set features a full array of live shows, dramatic gunfights, complete with stunts and saloon musicals daily. Besides the great food, souvenir shopping, carnival type games, horseback and stagecoach rides there is the feeling of the old west as you walk up and down the streets of movie legends.
Old Tucson Studios has been the setting for the more than 300 movies and television shows filmed on location since 1939.

Please note:
Always call ahead to make sure that the park is open to visitors because they could be shooting a new western feature film. Yes, it is an active movie studio.
