Old Town Pour House Brings Big Shoulders to 'Burbs

Old Town Pour House, located in the heart of OakBrook Center, is hosting an exclusive event from 6pm to 8pm on March 12, 2014 to kick-off the inclusion of three newly added on-tap brews from Big Shoulders Beer Company. This premiere occasion marks the first time that the Chicago-based brewer has featured its selection outside of the city limits.

Throughout the event, guests can chat with Big Shoulders Founder Rich Szydlo while enjoying newly featured brews including: Crosstown Wheat,a year-round brew, an unfiltered wheat brewed with lemongrass and coriander for a crisp, citrus taste; Hopapalooza IPA, a unique combination of aromatic hops, candied orange peel, with a clean finish; and Windchill Winter Wheat, a dunkelweiss with a light body of wheat beer, and roasty, chocolaty flavors. Each of the Big Shoulders beers are available for $6 per glass, while supplies last. Other draft selections range from $5 to $15.

Old Town Pour House has two locations, the first at 1419 N. Wells Street in Chicago, IL and the other at 8 Oak Brook Center in Oak Brook, IL. Both properties feature a menu that offers brilliant twists on American cuisine.
