Old School RS: Making profit with efficient low level fletching

Efficient, profitable fletching is possible in Old School RuneScape. This Old school RuneScape guide will elaborate in greater detail.

RuneScape players need a fletching knife. Money and an axe are very helpful. So is a good weapon.

Start out by making normal logs into arrow shafts. Gather feathers by training combat on chickens or buying from the store. The port sarim store starts at two coins a feather, but that increases rapidly once the stock drops below 950. Add feathers to the arrow shafts for more experience.

Hickton in Catherby sells bronze arrowheads for one coin each, increasing by a coin every hundred his stock of 1,000 is depleted by. These can be added to the headless arrows for more experience. Depending on the prices of the materials, a small profit is possible.

At level 15 fletching, switch to iron arrows. Iron arrowtips can be purchased from Hickton or smithed. Oak shortbows unlock at level 20, oak longbows at 25, willow shortbows at 35, and willow longbows at 40.

Low level fletching does not make huge bank but can turn a decent profit when done right. At higher levels, old school RuneScape players can turn a decent profit fletching.
