Old School RuneScape players wanting to train craft have the following options. Items can either be purchased or obtained during training other skills.
Pottery can be made. RuneScape players can either mine the clay or purchase it and craft pottery. There currently is low demand for pottery, so players will be either losing money or not making any this way.
Leather can be crafted. RuneScape players can either buy the leather or kill cows and tan the hides. Leather armor is also in low demand; selling to the shop results in a loss or small gain if materials were procured.
Flax can be spun. Due to demand from fletching, this method usually turns a good profit.
Silver can be crafted for faster crafting experience. A variety if items can be made, including unstrung symbols and tiaras. As there is inconsistent demand at best for these, RuneScape players will most likely lose money. Silver ore can be mined when it spawns in mines while mining iron, or stolen while passing the stall. Powermining silver generally isn't possible as most mines contain only a few.
Uncut gems should be saved and cut, then crafted into jewelry. Jewelry can be sold, alched, or enchanted for a good rate of return. Gems are obtained from mining, combat, thieving, and random events. They are best let pile up and then crafted.
