Old School RuneScape beginners have one teak tree that is close to a bank. This old school RuneScape guide will describe how to access and harvest from this tree. The only requirements are level 35 woodcutting, good ax, and ability to buy or make rings of dueling.
Start by buying rings of dueling from other players. A ring of dueling has eight teleports, and the destination of choice is castle wars. Wear the ring, taking to replace it every seven or eight trips. (Ring of dueling (1) high alches for 765 coins.)
From castle wars, exit east and cross the south bridge. Run west to the water. It is most efficient to run parallel to the wall but about ten steps south, as being closer to the wall means zigzagging a lot and wasting time.
The teak tree is by the ocean to the west. Going in a straight line west, you first pass ponds south of you then ponds north of you. Yellow dots are non-attacking ogres and frogs, although ogres further south do attack.
Chop the teak until full; teaks have a fast respawn time. Watch out for aggressive NPC's such as stranger plants and tree spirits as well as ents. When full, walk or run back to the Castle Wars bank or teleport with ring of dueling.
