The Old Florida Seafood Festival is being held on Saturday, March 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. at Laishley Park, 100 Nesbit St. in Punta Gorda, Florida along the beautiful waterfront of the Peace River. Come on out an enjoy some fresh seafood from the Gulf including shrimp boil with garlic, middle neck clams, craw dads, snapper, crab cakes in all varieties, buffalo, boiled and fried oysters, gator, smoked mullet and more.
There will be a variety of the activities such as great food by local vendors, craft vendors, music all day both days, water ski show by Sarasota Ski-A-Rees, Fishin’ Franks Kix Kids fishing tournament on Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Laishley Park pier, Mote Marine touch tank, and kids area.
