Old Christmas card craft: reuse old christmas cards

Reuse Your Old Christmas Cards

You may be thinking: I cannot reuse my Christmas cards! But, Oh yes, you can!

Usually, people write on the side of the Christmas card that is opposite of the cover with the pretty picture.

Providing there is not any writing on the back of the picture, rip the card in half. Take a piece of card stock paper (solid and light in color) and glue it onto the blank half of the card that you will be using. (Glue it to the side opposite of the picture)

If the picture on the card will allow, you can fold the card in half and write your message to the recipient on one side OR just leave it open and write your message on the blank paper.

If you do this, you will have to buy or make envelopes to mail your cards.

If you go to your local craft store or look on e-bay, you will find an envelope making kit that you can use to make your own envelopes!
