Old Catholic Priest Gather for Liturgical Training

By Rev. Mother Meredith Moise

The Baltimore deanery of the North American Old Catholic Church gathered in Washington, DC  for a day of fellowship and study. ON July 11th,  two bishops and eight priests and deacons met to discuss the introduction of the Old Catholic liturgy and the appropriate approach to mass.

Father Hal Barkley of Dundalk talked about the reaction of his parishioners when he told them about the conference. "Many were surprised when I told them about the workshop", he exclaimed. "Priests continue to study and learn throughout their lives", he related.

The North American Old Catholic Church is a non papal Catholic Church based in Washington, DC. Archbishop Michael Seneco is the Presiding Bishop.
