While Oklahoma State and Missouri battle each other between the lines on the gridiron in the Cotton Bowl, cheerleaders keep fans cheering on the sidelines.
The two teams played each other for years in the Big 12, but stopped when Missouri joined the SEC. They are still familiar with each other, and both have explosive offenses.
Much has been written about the game itself, but fans, as well as cheerleaders, also have an impact on the overall experience.
The game is set for 7 p.m., Jan. 3 in Arlington, Texas. The game is sold out, and sold out faster than any other Cotton Bowl in history, event organizers say. Here is a link to the official Cotton Bowl website.
