The 2013 NCAA football schedule features Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State on Saturday at 12 p.m. EDT. The game will air live from Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, IA. Last week the OSU Cowboys won their homecoming game against the TCU Horned Frogs, and they head into Ames with a huge score to settle with the Cyclones. You can catch the OSU Cowboys vs. the Iowa State Cyclones live on TV and via live stream audio if you are not near a TV at kickoff time, according to an Oct. 25 Bleacher Report.
In 2011, the last time OSU went to Iowa State, it was a horrible day in the history of the Cowboys. News had just hit that the women's basketball coach Kurt Budke and assistant coach Miranda Serna had been killed in a plane crash that also took the life of two others. Oklahoma State was riding into Ames with a perfect season on the line and the National Championship in their sights.
However unbelievable, Iowa State beat the OSU Cowboys that night, crushing the hopes of playing for a National Championship in 2011. Now, in 2013, the Cowboys hope to make a statement and redeem themselves after that loss. All time, Oklahoma State leads the series 26-18-3.
The OSU Cowboys have struggled this season at offense, and hopefully this week things will click for them because it is imperative that they get things together coming into the home stretch of the season. Plus, if they do not, it could end up proving tough to beat the Cyclones this year. The good news for OSU is that the defense has been great lately, and hopefully they can capitalize on mistakes that the Cyclone offense seems to make.
Be sure to check out Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State 2013 on TV on the Fox Sports Network. If you are unable to catch it on FSN, you can listen via live stream audio on Game Tracker online.
