Oklahoma State and Oklahoma men's basketball teams make it to NCAA tournament

Update: Oklahoma State game is at 3:40 p.m. Oklahoma will play the next day at 8:20 p.m.

It was announced in the first half hour of the selection show on TV network CBS on March 17, 2013 that Oklahoma State and Oklahoma men's basketball teams made it to the NCAA tournament. The OSU game will be on TNT while the Oklahoma game will be on TBS.

Oklahoma State is a five seed and plays twelve seed Oregon (26-8) on Thu. March 21, 2013 at 3:40 p.m. on TNT in San Jose, CA. They are part of the Midwest region which eventually play in Indianapolis, Indiana. Oklahoma State should then face number four seed St. Louis on Sat. March 23, 2013 still in San Jose.

Ten seed Oklahoma plays seven seed San Diego St (22-10) on Fri. March 22, 2013 at 8:20 p.m. on TBS in Philadelphia, PA. They are part of the South region where sweet sixteen and elite eight play in North Texas. Oklahoma then will have to get past number two seed Georgetown on Sun. March 24, 2013 to make it to the sweet sixteen.

ORU and Tulsa did not make the tournament.
