The Oklahoma Sooners looked like things were coming together until the Christmas break. After opening the season with an 11-1 record, the only loss coming to fifth ranked Michigan State, the wheels kind of came off the bus in their first game after Christmas. OU lost to Louisiana Tech at home, and then after opening Big 12 play with a win over Texas, fell to 18th ranked Kansas. According to NewsOK.com on Jan. 10, the problem for OU comes in the form of their defense. Here is how fans can follow this weekend's Oklahoma Sooners vs. Iowa State Cyclones live stream.

The scariest proposition is that the Sooners' defense, which gave up 102 to Louisiana Tech and 90 to Kansas, is about to play the best team in the Big 12 right now. Iowa State is undefeated, with a program best 14 wins in a row to open the season. They just upset the Baylor Bears, which isn't really an upset considering the two team's records. Iowa State is ranked ninth in the nation, and if they beat OU, they will jump more because Baylor was ranked seventh.
However, the Cyclones and Sooners offenses are very close statistically. Both teams average 87 points per game, tied for the fifth best in the nation. The Cyclones have a better offensive efficiency, but both teams know how to score points. The difference is on defense, where Iowa State ranks 23rd in the country and OU ranks a very low 183rd.
