Larry Parham, the Secretary of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce press release indicated yesterday, plans to offer a magazine to feature Oklahoma businesses. Parham, an attorney who had previously been the Oklahoma Secretary of State, came to this job in 2013, placed upon the appointment of Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin.

Oklahoma Success is the name of the planned magazine. The Oklahoma Department of Commerce expects to release it's first issue in October, 2014, and subsequent issues in January 2015, April 2015 and July 2015.

Oklahoma Success magazine will be under the care of Conway Data Commercial Service, a self proclaimed leader in business intelligence and business development out of Norcross, Georgia just North of Atlanta.

The purpose of the magazine is to both clearly illustrate to Oklahomans what sorts of business currently function in Oklahoma. This will provide in and out of state networking options for business with hands on references, in addition to possible options for new businesses which would compliment the existing market. This magazine presents an option for quarterly update in Oklahoma commerce, with the option to focus and highlight various aspects which may not normally surface for review.
