Jordan Warner, 19, of Oklahoma City was charged and arrested on Monday in Ada, Okla. for throwing kittens and ultimately killing one by tossing the defenseless little one out onto the street.
According to theadanews.com, Warner plucked the kittens, owned by Sarah Garrett, out of the back of a pickup truck and threw them onto the grass. When one of the kittens came running back to Warner, the cruel culprit picked it up and tossed it out in the street killing the animal as it hit the pavement.
An arrest warrant stated Warner:
“maliciously and cruelly (mutilated) a kitten that was in subjugation and belonged to Sarah Garrett by throwing it into the air causing the cat to die as it hit the ground.”
Hannah Anderson of Royal Palm Beach can't understand how anyone could intentionally harm an innocent animal; much less one so small and incapable of even defending itself.
"A kitten has no idea that the world can produce such evil that for no reason someone picks it up and tosses it to their death. This horrible person needs to spend his time in prison and away from decent people and animals."
Warner has been charged with felony animal cruelty and faces up to five years in prison if found guilty. He was taken to the Pontotoc County Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 bond.
