April 19, 1995, 9:01 AM. That was the date and hour of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. Hundreds of people gathered at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum 14 years later to honor "those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever" by the bombing that destroyed 168 lives. A multi-faith ceremony included scripture readings, prayers and songs of hope and healing. The names of the dead were also read. Later in the day, NBC's Ann Curry was the featured speaker at the National Media Symposium.
