Yesterday (July 26), American rock band OK Go released a music video for, "All is Not Lost," a song from their 2010 album Of the Blue Colour of the Sky. The interactive music video follows true to all other OK Go's past music videos, which is to have a simple yet elaborate concept that is fun to watch. You can watch Ok Go's "All is Not Lost" music video by clicking here.
OK Go's "All is Not Lost" music video was created with the help of Pilobolus, a company of choreographers and dancer-athletes. It entails the boys of OK Go and the Pilobolus dancers wearing skin tight teal body suits while forming shapes, patterns, and words with their bodies. They are up against a beige background, their bare feet spell out the words, and it is done in different panels. This music video is really one you have to view to fully understand, and appreciate the concept.
The music video ends with them spelling out 'Spread the love' in different languages including, English, Spanish, and French. They did a great job of creating another music video that someone would want to watch over and over again. You could watch "All is Not Lost" more than once and catch something new each time, which is a great experience.
You can choreograph your own dance at: http://www.allisnotlo.st and watch the "All is Not Lost" music video in 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. If you are going to view the interactive video you will need google chrome. You can also download the song for free by clicking here.
It was directed by, OK Go, Pilobolus and Trish Sie, and you can view screenshots from the music video by clicking here. What did you think of OK Go's new music video for their song "All is Not Lost"? Leave comments below, or connect with me via Twitter: @NatalieChicago
