OJ Simpson brain cancer update: OJ asks Barack Obama for parole, release

O.J. Simpson brain cancer reports have drawn mixed reactions. Reportedly, Simpson has brain tumor symptoms and has petitioned President Barack Obama for parole and clemency. The former NFL player-turned actor, who is serving a jail sentence in Las Vegas, reportedly, wants a presidential pardon and requests the right to die at home, according to a Jan. 8 UPI news report.

Does O.J. Simpson have brain cancer? According to tabloid reports, the former Heisman Trophy winner has symptoms of a brain tumor and doesn't think he has long to live.

He has blurry vision, stutters sometimes and has trouble hearing what people are saying to him. At times, he feels confused and has unusual bursts of anger and fits of depression. He put off the doctors for weeks after he first started experiencing the symptoms because he was afraid of what they would find," an unnamed source with the National Enquirer said.

Moreover, Simpson, who is suffering from diabetes and other health problems, made one last ditch effort for a prison release by writing to the president on matters of clemency.

He wrote to Obama, 'Mr. President, I know my life is coming to an end. Please, don't let me die in prison.' Of course, the president would never pardon one of America's most infamous criminals, but it's a desperate hope, and O.J. is clinging to it," the source added.

Unconfirmed sources say O.J. Simpson is undergoing tests on his brain for tumor formation, but the alleged symptoms appear to be in line with brain cancer.

Simpson, 66, is serving a felony conviction for his role in a 2008 kidnapping and robbery involving his prized football memorabilia. A judge handed him a nine-to 33-year term.

Pundits say it’s highly unlikely Obama pardons O.J. Simpson, brain cancer or not or even grants him parole.
