Ohio State University's literary magazine seeking short story submissions

The Ohio State University is holding a short story writing contest for their literary magazine The Journal.

The sixth annual Journal Short Story Contest will award $1000 and publication in the Journal’s Autumn/Winter issue. This writing contest is open to all genres, styles, and subject matter. Only unpublished fiction is accepted with a maximum of 7,500 words.

The fee to enter is $10.00. Submissions must be postmarked by May 1, 2010.

The Writer’s Loft: Helmed by the famed Jerry Cleaver, author of Immediate Fiction and Professor of Professional Fiction at Northwestern University.
