On Friday, an Ohio man pleaded guilty to raping a little boy. Now this rapist, Patrick Rieder, 32, has been “sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years.”
Rieder pleaded guilty to raping a child under the age of 13 and possessing materials of naked children.
Strangely, the boy’s adoptive father allowed Rieder and another man to sexually violate the child. The father, 40, and Jason Zwick, 30, have received many years in prison. “The Associated Press isn't naming the adoptive father to protect the identities of the children, whose ages at the time of the arrests ranged from 9 to 12.”
On Nov. 2, the father pleaded guilty to “six counts of raping three young boys in his care in Miami County, where prosecutors have recommended a sentence of 60 years to life in prison in exchange for his guilty plea.”
Then on Dec. 20, this adoptive father pleaded guilty in a Montgomery County court in Dayton to “one count each of child rape and complicity to rape under a plea agreement that calls for 50 years to life in prison,” said the Huffington Post.
The adoptive father was arrested in February 2012 after detectives caught him posting ads for “taboo” sex.
At the time of Rieder’s sentencing, he was marked as a sex offender. This means he will have to register his address every three months for the rest of his life if he ever gets out of prison.
