A man in Cincinnati, Ohio, was nabbed by the authorities after he decided to rough up his tiny puppy in front of two police officers on Monday morning, reported Local 12 News.
Shortly after 11 a.m., two police officers heard a man yelling, and then saw him throw a puppy to the ground.
The officers quickly confronted the man, identified as 49-year-old Miles B. Howard. The defiant owner of the puppy allegedly told the officers that he could "do whatever he wanted" to the puppy.
According to WCPO News, the young puppy was seized from the man and taken to the SPCA of Cincinnati.
The puppy's owner was cited for cruelty to animals.
According to the report, the puppy suffered minor wounds, but is receiving care at the shelter facility.
