If you like your theater with fast action, controversy and in an unusual setting then you really need to see “Free Radical and The Late Night Sketchbook” produced by Ohio City Theatre Project and directed by Pandora Robertson. The show features a brilliant cast of exciting actors who put it all out on the stage. The cast consists of actors Courtney Auman, Sarah Greywitt, Amy Compton, Joseph Dunn, Kevin Marr, and Stuart Hoffman.
The show will be performed in the Saint John Parish Hall (just to the left of Saint John’s Church located at 2600 Church Street in Ohio City). The Parish Hall is currently under renovation and the staging area with exposed lathe, ancient stain glass windows and peeling paint lends itself perfectly to the storyline ripped right out of the front pages of the news. Performances will be held on May 8, 9, 15, 16 and 17 at 8:00 p.m. with a special benefit performance on May 10, 2014 at 8:00 p.m.
According to Pandora Robertson, “Free Radical and The Late Night Sketchbook ” explores the concept of confession through carefully crafted movement and emotionally charged narratives of life altering events. What is the boundary between what we think is the truth and what we want the truth to be?”
What promises to be a visceral and profoundly affecting theatrical event will take place in the historically rich and poetic architecture of Ohio City's Saint John’s Parish Hall, 2600 Church Ave., Cleveland 44113.
Tickets are $15.00 (with a $1.52 service fee when ordered online) and seating is limited. I would suggest you order your tickets now for this singular theatrical event. For information and tickets please click here or join the event on Facebook.
